Flir C2 camera

I just received the flir C2 a few days ago.I tried out the camera and I liked the fact that the picture is clear, the unit is compact and it seems to work well in viewing hot and cold spots.I did not play around with the software. You do need to download the software since it was not provided with the instruction manual (came with a USB stick) and the manual is not that great to be honest with you.I don't know how accurate these cameras are since I do not have a laboratory to test the unit but from what I can see the company makes a good product so I doubt they would put a ten year warranty on a cheap camera.I am not a home inspector so I doubt I will use this camera on a daily basis.I am a plumber so I will use it to try and find leaky pipes behind walls. For plumbing this is a great tool to have if you need to find a leak and you don't want to destroy someones home in the process. On another note my contractors helper mixed some leveling cement a little to thin.He was upstairs working on the floor and he pored the cement and I could hear some dripping.I took out my camera and I could see the cold spot in the ceiling. For me the camera worked well and I wasn't surprised to see the difference in temperature. We had to do a bit of a clean up but I liked the fact that you could see a blue puddle in the ceiling. This showed me that this camera does what it is supposed to do.I was looking at spending a little less money.I found the seek camera that attaches to your phone but the reviews where not that great so I decided to spend more money and get a better product. This camera is new on the market but I think once people see what it can do they will buy it.It cost me $699 CDN funds so it is almost twice the price of the seek camera but why would you want to buy a product that doesn't work well. This camera is worth the money.

Recommendation: Yes, I would recommend this product.
